EVENT INFO
Join us for a spectacular day of running through peak fall colors in the heart of the Elk Mountains.
Run, hike, or walk the 25k Lead King Loop, a breathtaking course that winds through Lead King Basin, past the iconic Crystal Mill, and through the historic Town of Crystal. Or take on the 8-Mile Quarry Climb, a scenic out-and-back route along the Yule Marble Quarry Road, surrounded by the majestic Maroon Bells-Snomass and Ragged Wilderness areas.

After the race, enjoy a homemade Slow Groovin' BBQ lunch and a cold beer, included with your entry.

Bring the whole family! Little ones can join in the fun with a kids race around Beaver Lake, a safe and exciting way for young runners to be part of race day.

All participants receive: breathtaking mountain views, a custom event shirt, a delicious post-race BBQ meal, a cold beer, and a custom finisher medal.
The Lead King Loop is a proud member of the Colorado Mountain Half Marathon+ Series.
